May 25, 2008 - Charlotte, NC Today, activists with Asheville Rising Tide
broke ground on a new 800 Mw clean energy power plant in Duke Energy CEO
Jim Rogers front yard. The power plant will tap into a previously
unexplored energy source known as hot air which has been found in large
concentrations at Roger's residence, 330 Eastover Rd, Charlotte, NC.

Rainbow Warrior blocks coal shipment in Philippines
Posted May 23rd, 2008 by gpseaCategories:
The Greenpeace flagship Rainbow Warrior today blocked coal shipments at the Pagbilao coal-fired power plant in Quezon province, 150 kilometers southwest of Manila to protest the impending expansion of the said plant. The Rainbow Warrior anchored alongside the coal ship Medi Firenze unloading a cargo of coal at the Pagbilao plant's loading pier, and prevented a bigger shipment of coal--from the 223 meter vessel Sam John Spirit standing by to unload--from approaching.
A giant banner reading "Quit coal" the Rainbow Warrior's masts to drive home the message that the Philippine government should stop building and expanding harmful coal-fired power plants.

Posted May 21st, 2008 by AnonymousCategories:
An exclusive alliance of big businesses resolutely committed to the financial wellbeing of their stakeholders, the Standover Group works tirelessly to show the Government that less, not more regulation is not just the right way, but the only way to secure immediate prosperity for important business players.
We recognise that an economy is like a pyramid of champagne flutes, and that only by filling up the vessel at the apex can wealth trickle down to those on the lower echelons.
