As you may know, Global Justice Ecology Project's newest initiative is New Voices on Climate Change, the goal of which is to broaden the climate debate by amplifying the voices of peoples around the world who are already being impacted by climate change.

YOU can help us win a $200,000 grant for this important work! Green Mountain Coffee Roasters launched a climate change funding challenge this month, and we are a applying for the GMCR funding for our New Voices Intiative.  The $200,000 grant is distributed as $40,000 annual grants for five consecutive years.  For a group as efficient and effective as GJEP, those funds would go a long way!

With these funds, we will be able to implement an aggressive media outreach campaign on climate justice issues, organize speakers tours for our New Voices participants, and work with the Mobilization for Climate Justice to organize actions this fall to demand real, effective and just solutions to climate change.
