Bolivia summit seeks global climate change referendum

(AFP) LA PAZ — An alternative “people’s conference” on climate change in the Bolivian city of Cochabamba in April will seek to advance an international global warming referendum, organizers said Tuesday.

Two months have gone by since the Copenhagen  Climate Conference that
ended in failure. Through an undemocratic and non  transparent process,
the Copenhagen Accord was produced which was not  adopted by the
Conference, but only taken note of.
